It was the first sentence in Dave's first email to me. Like someone standing up at a meeting admitting their addictions or habits.

So needless to say, I kept reading. Trying to figure out why this guy was writing to me.
He proceeded to tell me all about himself. I was almost ready to hit the delete button, thinking perhaps he sent this to the wrong email address. But then I noticed his height. 6'6". WOW! Shallow I know, but I am 6'1" and taller men are almost unheard of.

So I found my cursor on the screen moving towards the reply button.

Ummm...ok Rox, what are you going to say. "Who are you? And why are you writing to me?" Instead I made light conversation, finally getting around to asking, where he got this email address from.

He replied that same day saying he came across my profile on Yahoo Personals. I told him, that can't be, I never placed an ad with Yahoo Personals. Dave sent me the link in his next email. Sure enough, there I was. A whole profile on me. My only guess is that someone placed it there as a joke.

In spite of this, we still communicated via email for about a month and a half. He only lived an hour from me and we decided to meet one Friday night. That was six months ago, and we are engaged to be married on St. Patrick's Day. We are having a Celtic wedding with traditional vows followed by Celtic vows. Dave will be decked out in a full Kilt with a bagpiper playing in the background. Our Wedding Cake is the shape of a castle to match our wedding invitations along with pewter King Arthur and Guinevere goblets and other Celtic decor.

Dave is truly the love of my life. I believe God had a hand in this and it was meant for us to meet. I have never been this happy. It isn't very often someone can say, I have found my Prince Charming. For anyone interested, our website is here.
