Me being in the USA and he in England, we chatted on the Internet and by phone for almost a year before we finally decided to meet. We were both going through the end of our marriages and just enjoyed having each other to talk to. But in no time at all, it felt as if we'd known each other for years. He sometimes called me at work, and oh, such lovely email greetings we'd send each other.

It truly was a 'wordly romance' in bloom!! On my birthday (thru an Internet Florist) - much to the awe and delight of my friends - he sent flowers to my job. As my co-workers relieved me for breaks, he many times spoke with them when he would call for me - this made him become 'real' and well known. As time went by, even they were soon to admit a TRUE RELATIONSHIP was developing. 

Our feelings steadily blossomed into a beautiful love. As we prepared for our first meeting, it amazed us both on how everything seemed to just work itself out for us! It was as if it were a 'sign' encouraging us every step of the way! When my plane landed in England and we held each other for the first time, there was such a sense of love and endearment that it felt as though we had been always been together. From the start of our first meeting we both felt so comfortable and secure with each other. Since we had talked for so long on the Internet, we felt a natural connection to each other. It was amazing how we perfectly matched as we knew about each other in every way and anyone who seen us together could see how much in love we were. 

Through the events of his meeting my family in Texas at Christmas and our marrying on the 18th, it made December 2000 a month to remember. We now live in England where we are making plans for a beautiful life together. Yes, maybe I took more than a chance flying 5000 miles to a man I actually only knew thru a computer, not to mention that he also took a chance that I would actually show up; but with all the time that had past and all we had gone thru together during that year, we KNEW beyond a shadow of a doubt it was DESTINY for us to meet and fall in love. We both took a chance, a dare, but we both knew it was written in the stars - WE WERE MEANT TO BE ! 

Because of this beautiful fairy tale come true I wanted to share our love story with the world and so created my own website (like this one!) in honor of all of those who have also been as successful as I. There is a caution to take before making that first step in meeting, but feel free with your heart.
