Nina:
It's strange how things happen... you are trudging through the mundane weary lanes of life when suddenly, out of nowhere, love walks in and touches your life in a way that you know that nothing could ever be the same again...

I just wanted to take a moment to say that I love your site.

It is truly beautiful what I have found here. I am writing to tell you of our very own "Twist Of Fate". Something neither of us ever imagined could happen, but it has..

Casondra & Skot shortly after they met
I had been through my share of failed relationships there is no doubt of that and I had completely given up the idea of finding someone willing to contribute what was needed in a lasting love. So, needless to say. I was not looking for anything serious.

I have frequented the same chat room for more than 3 years now and have made some wonderful online friendships. However, I had become bored with the typical chat and the Internet all together. So, I decided to take a break. After about a week of being off line I returned late one night to check mail. There, in my box was an email from a lady friend I had made in chat.

She was going on and on about a man that had recently entered the room and how he was supposedly the "male incarnate" of myself. Anyone who knows me also knows that I am a bit of a "character." My since of humor is one of a warped demented nature. The thought of finding ANYONE who doesn't become annoyed instantly is a chore. Much less a man that shared the same. I completely discredited the email and went about my business.

Later that night, I found myself wandering the net. It was then I ran across a photo gallery that proved to be quite entertaining. As I clicked from one pic to the next I ran across one gentleman's photo. I was stunned by his presence. Approximately 10 minuets had gone by when I finally tore myself away from the photo and decided to venture into chat. There, I found the woman who had sent me the email earlier that week. She proceeded to tell me all about this man. "You just have to meet him," she said. Ranting on and on about how much we were alike. I laughed at her thinking it was amusing. "No, I am serious! You HAVE GOT to talk to him." I finally agreed that I would make effort to do so later on and left the chat quickly. Again, finding myself staring at this anonymous photo I had found earlier.

Approximately 4 hours later I ventured back into the chat. Only to find a few friends talking about daily events. Then, all of a sudden out of nowhere. A new name entered, rambling on and on about being the presentment of madness. I quickly spoke up and told the stranger that title had already been taken by myself as I laughed. He was silent for a few moments. It was then I received a "whisper" from him. "So YOU are the woman I have heard so very much about." I replied by saying, "I see my reputation precedes me." It was then I noticed his side bar photo (this particular room has a side bar option for those wishing to post photos of themselves). I almost fell from my chair when I realized I was talking to the man in the photo. The photo I had found earlier that day while surfing. After several hours in "whisper" mode we opted to enter my personal chat room. We found one another to be interesting. Not to mention, we thoroughly enjoyed our conversation.

In popped a name. The woman who had emailed me found us in our chat. She entered the room by saying, "I knew you two would find one another! ENJOY" and promptly left. We laughed and continued our chat.

A few days went by with the usual plethora of emails back and forth. Then one night, while chatting the suggestion was made that we speak via the phone. So we did. I felt there might be some awkwardness in doing so. However, from the very first word it was as if we'd done this a million times before. Phone call #1 lasted about an hour. Phone call # 2 lasted about and hour and a half. Phone call #3 lasted 7 hours and so on until we reached the point of 8-hour average phone calls. (Anyone who has called long distance knows this was NOT cheap) We then decided to write via "snail mail".
One week later I received a package containing many surprises. I then returned the favor by sending a package of my own. Several days later while discussing our packages we found ourselves referring to one another as "we" and "us". Stunned by this we discussed whether or not this had become a "relationship" without our even realizing it. We simply decided to let fate lead us in the right direction. But I can say this much, beyond the physical separation. We are as close as two people can get. I adore him. There are not words to describe what I feel for him.

Since then, our relationship has grown tremendously. Even going so far as to admit our love to one another. We both agree this seems crazy. The sort of thing you read about in a book. It hardly seems real. With each day comes more frustration. Finding it hard to cope with time. We are both eager to be togetherů and in an effort to explore our feelings he will be coming here in just under 3 weeks. I can hardly contain myself and look very much forward to spending time with him.

Not a day goes by that we aren't discussing his visit. There are so many things we would like to do and say. We are not so patiently waiting to see how things go. There is always a chance things will not work out. However, we both feel that isn't the case this time around. It just feels so right.

Neither of us was looking when fate led us to one another. Neither of us was in need of love. Hell, neither of us believed in love, especially online love prior to our finding one another. We both want so badly to be together. To learn, To love, and to experience what this has to offer. It is simply amazing. So much for not seeking love eh?

Wondrous Wishes,

"Casondra"
