We met in Birmingham since that is where he
lives and that was the place where I did my degree in Media and Cultural
Studies. He studied Computer Science there as well but I never knew he
existed until..... (well, hold on! one thing at a time). |

Emails were longer, hours spent online
longer as well. I think I spent three hours a day talking to him. Garfield was a
great connection, there was always a picture of that naughty cat in his
emails. I was receiving and sending so many e-greetings it was
unbelievable. A shy guy with a huge heart! I was in such a confused and painful state and he managed to keep it up for me and we talked about everything. He was the reason to get hooked online again, the reason to be happy to open my folder. Even when I went back to Greece for the holidays, we kept on and on.... I knew at that time I was falling in love with a guy I never saw in my life! It was risky but wonderful! He promised that the new millennium was going to be different! Did he know? When I came back, we decided to meet up in real life where else? In the Clock Tower in Birmingham University! And we did: Wednesday 13 January 2000. It was exciting but we were so nervous. We hugged each other and walked and walked and talked about things. I can never forger his smell; he smelled gorgeous! Then we were meeting almost everyday and were going to cinema, sharing software and music cds. I was so happy. I can still remember our first kiss by the Vale. I can still remember us getting physically close for the first time! That was it. We were in love and inseparable for a little more than a year now. We went to places together, we had a great holiday in Greece and hope for more to come. He now learns Greek and sounds so sexy, it is amazing! "Agni"
